Hair Care &Tips
Pre-installation tips
1) Leave your hair extensions tied, just as they were when you received them to avoid tangling when washing.
2) Wash the hair using a high quality mild or sulfate-free shampoo with warm water.
3) After rinsing the shampoo out, place a considerable amount of moisturizing conditioner onto the hair extensions.
Comb through the extensions( just straight and body wave hair can be combed ), starting from the bottom up.
You can leave the conditioner in for 15-20 minutes to hydrate it.
4) Rinse out conditioner and let the hair air dry completely.
5) We recommend using a weft sealant to prevent shedding before installing the hair.
Shampoo & Condition
· Be sure to gently remove any tangles before washing the hair.
· We recommend shampooing the hair at least once a week using a good quality mild or sulfate free shampoo.
· Always wash and rinse hair in a downward motion.
· Follow up using a good conditioner to keep hair hydrated and moisturized for shiny and healthy looking hair.
· When combing hair use a wide tooth comb starting from tip to root.
Drying & Hot Tool
· We recommend letting the hair dry naturally and completely but you can certainly use a blow dryer as well.
Before using heat or other hot tools apply a heat protectant first.
· Try not to use heat past 350 degrees Fahrenheit when straightening or curling the hair.
Remember too much heat can damage the cuticle of the hair.
Sleeping
· We recommend braiding or wrapping the hair up at night and putting on a silk scarf.
You can also sleep on a satin pillowcase. Cotton pillows tend to dry out hair.
