Oh where to start??? Well, The dream of Dianne’s Beautification Touch started off as a little girl younger than 10 years old. When i was younger i drew a picture of a one-stop-shop just out of the blue. I didn’t even know why I drew the picture. In the picture i drew that  one side was for nails and the other side was for hair. In the picture was an upstairs 
for my patrons to go shopping.  I know! Wow! So young and didn’t even know that God instilled and programmed that into me. Years went by and I ended up doing hair here and there.  I did telemarketing with different companies.  That wasn’t a 
passion for me and i really didn’t like it honestly.  I went to school for Medical Administration. I did like the medical terminology and and typing because i can type fast. But, one day I actually left the class room and called my mom to say “guess what mom! I wan’t to do counselling,” Mom was like that’s great just finish school first.  Well people will talk to me and i would give them advice. I’m a people person. Well I graduated and worked in a clinic but it just wasn’t my passion.  I didn’t go for counselling either.  It’s like what is really going on? 

 

Well one day of the heat wave that happen in Toronto i came across a childhood friend who I haven’t seen in a long time. The person gave me their flyer for a grand 
opening.  I stopped by a few times as I was driving by.  One day i left a meeting and it dropped in my spirit to go to the salon.  I got there and not even 30 minutes later a person came in and didn’t like what another location did so the person wanted whatever was done to their hair to come out.  The person turned to me and asked if I can take it out. I was like okay.  As I was taking it out I said “I can do this.”  You see when I was younger than I was back in the days I used to do the guys hair in the community and people would hover over me watching and I didn’t like that feeling.  But when I was 
there doing it that didn’t bother me.  I don’t know how that person heard me but then the person was like you should do this and work here basically.

 

Well then the journey began.  I was there working then it dropped in my spirit that I had to do more.  I went and got a professional wax kit and was waxing at the establishment.  I was going good til the person wanted 80/20 and everything was all mines. that didn’t sit well with me.  Then the person said to me “when I started out I wanted to do everything too.  You should just focus on hair.”  Deep down i was saying it didn’t work out for you because your not programmed that way.  Well lets just say that God will use people for our benefit to take us from point A to point B. People are in our life always for times and seasons. People will go from a dream pusher to a dream killer. You when people don’t want you do better than them. Well I leave them to God. Well that person didn’t want me to complete things. I was like my wings was getting clipped. 

 

Okay God I hear you time to go.  I went to school for eyelash extension and got certified. I finished hair school and now i’m like my subsidy daycare is going to end.  Like we all know how hard it is to get subsidy daycare. So I was like I have to do something. It dropped in my spirit to look up cosmetology schools in Toronto.  Well this one school came up an i checked it out. I looked up their programs and I was like I already went to school for hair and makeup. You see I took makeup at night time while going to hair school. They had skin care special and they had medical aesthetician.  For some reason medical aesthetics kept sticking to me and I knew I just had to take it. I spoke with the school representative for admissions and she suggested that I take skincare specialist because it would be good to know about the skin when dealing with makeup.  I was like yes make sense. So I arranged to meet with her to make a deposit.

 

You see how good God is!!! Let me explain. The government owed me money and I was like what the hold up? But the truth of the matter is that God was holding the money because if they released it I wouldn’t have the money to deposit for the school. Like hello I would have spent some of the money.  So the same day I went to the school to see the lady was the same day the funds got released. All glory be to God.

 

Now of course when I went the enemy had to present itself to discourage me.  about a week and a half in I contacted the dean and let the dean know that I want to switch from skincare specialist to medical aesthetics.  The difference between the two is that skincare specialist I would only do the skincare module with waxing I believe and medical aesthetics does everything under the aesthetics offered at the school.  I just had it in me from the whole time that I had to take it.  Also both groups started at the same module and anyways.  Also while I went to school during the day I took A nails course during the night. 

It was later on when my childhood picture  came to me, and I was like oh my gosh that picture I drew is coming to life. I’m like God has a greater vision for me than the childhood one.  God was just instilling that in me. I’m like wow! How many people are actually doing a one-stop-shop that actually went to school for everything? Like you would see a mixing of either hair with maybe waxing or nails with pedicure and spas services. But those spa services would be microdermabrasion and chemical peels, and laser. I can do hair, makeup, nails, massage, manicures, pedicures, facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, body contouring, laser, laser tattoo removal, and more. Like wow! The store part is that I have an online store and I sell Divinely DBT Royal Hair. What a God I serve!!

 

My dream has come to light and I thank God for it all.

As the CEO of Dianne’s Beautification Touch Incorporated I take pride in my love for our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I believe that he is the author and finisher of my faith and that he is the reason why Dianne’s Beautification Touch Incorporated exists.
